The Boozefighters popularity today is most likely due to several History and Discovery channel specials pertaining to the club along with A&E broadcasts of “The Wild Ride Of The Outlaw Biker” which chronicles their invasion of Hollister California in 1947. A short story in a 1947 issue of Life Magazine detailing the Boozefighters invasion of Hollister Ca. also became the inspiration for the 1952 classic movie “The Wild One” that stared two little know actors at that time named Marlon Brando and Lee Marvin.
Sometimes referred to as the “Green and White” (due to their club colors) the Boozefighter’s are now one of the oldest and most respected motorcycle clubs in the world today.
